GIFT: The manner of giving is worth more than the gift
Once I was working in the kitchen and washing the dishes in the city of Copenhagen, and suddenly one ordinary old well-dressed guy came to me in the dishwashing area and called – hello Dr. Ritesh!! All of a sudden, I felt an opportunity knocking on the doors for me, I replied hello gentleman! He responded with the gift vouchers and said I am the boss of this restaurant chain that you are working with as of now. I came to know that you have a Ph.D. (Chemistry) and have been working in the kitchen for the last several months with us. It is my pleasure to have you in our team, but you are not made for this. He handed over the gift vouchers of 1000 Danish krone to enjoy Denmark’s oldest and best patisserie – La Glace on the New Year eve 2018.

Journey to North Pole: Top of the world
Journey to the north of mainland Europe, it is about midway between the northern coast of Norway and the North Pole. Cruise Journey towards Norway you feel nature is as beautiful as our life and its best. I must say life is super busy nowadays in the time of technology and innovation. Almost all people are in a rush to gain the artificial beauty of life. Nord means the way towards the North and hence called Norway. I witnessed Snow, thunderstorms, dark, northern lights, longest daylight on the earth, experienced to survived in six-month day and night cycle, last but not the least the beauty of the midnight sun from North Sea, it’s all about amazing experience comes once in a life of a person.

The Food – that I have forgot to have it – It’s Saturday night!!
9 out of 10 migrants have gone through the kitchen job overseas for months or for years. Among the several job titles in the kitchen like Waiter, kitchen helper, bartender, runner and dishwasher, dishwashing employee is one of the super busy person in the restaurant until the whole shift has closed. Everyone has their drinks and food on the table, but the dishwasher is always busy with rinsing the kitchen pots and dirty plates. As a dishwasher you rarely get the opportunity to have food on time because it is Saturday night at the busy restaurant in Copenhagen.
Sweet potato chips with Sauce is one of my favorite snacks that I used to have during my dish washing shift (2015-2017). I used to work as a proud dishwasher back in 2016 during job stagnation time and I missed to have it on time, and today I missed a lot to have it!!
